Report: EU can approve new Russia sanctions on Wednesday
MOSCOW, Jun 7 (PRIME) -- The E.U. permanent representatives can agree on the 11th package of sanctions against Russia on Wednesday, newspaper Politico reported.
"E.U. countries are nearing a deal on the 11th sanctions package against Russia. Their permanent representatives in Brussels are aiming to get the package over the line at their meeting today — but with several questions still open, it’s still unclear whether they’ll get there," the newspaper reported citing five E.U. diplomats.
The package will be focused on prevention of circumvention of earlier restrictions, which would include measures against the states helping Russia.
